LIGHT SAGE MINTY GREEN TRANSITIONAL KITCHEN, BURLINGTON.

A bustling family set out to transform their home into a space that could keep up with their lively lifestyle. But instead of settling for a modest refresh, they dared to dream bigger, envisioning a home where elegance seamlessly met practicality—brought to life through thoughtful materials and a meticulously curated palette. To achieve this vision, walls were removed, and the once-cramped mudroom was reimagined as an open passageway. Elegant arched doorways framed each view, drawing guests and family members to explore freely from the expanded space into the living room and onto the kitchen beyond. 

What began as separate, disconnected rooms became a harmonious flow of spaces, each thoughtfully designed to support a cohesive look and feel. The entire home felt brighter, airier, and completely reimagined, setting the stage for shared meals, lively conversations, and the everyday joy of family life.

Grey Painted Kitchen with Custom Built Shelf

The Details

This kitchen was transformed into a functional and inviting space through thoughtful design choices and clever layout reconfiguration. By maximizing storage and enhancing the room’s flow, the result is a practical and visually appealing space. The custom-built corner shelf adds a surprising visual element to the kitchen, offering display space and a unique design feature that catches the eye. Removing the walls between the kitchen and living areas makes the space more open and connected, allowing for a natural flow that seamlessly merges cooking and entertaining zones.

This thoughtful layout transformation maximizes storage opportunities in a compact space and enhances the overall functionality, making the kitchen feel spacious, inviting, and perfectly suited for modern living.

The Materials

This renovation radiates charm and sophistication, highlighted by the minty green painted custom kitchen cabinets that infuse the space with fresh, vibrant energy. These cabinets serve as a focal point, their gentle hue evoking a sense of calm while perfectly contrasting with the exquisite natural stone countertop, which features intricate veining and textures that add depth and character to the design. These elements create a harmonious balance that draws the eye and invites exploration. The refreshed lighting illuminates the kitchen beautifully, casting a warm glow that enhances the inviting atmosphere and accentuates the exquisite details of the cabinetry and countertop.

Additionally, the pantry area provides much-needed storage and elevates the overall aesthetic. Featuring elegant glass panel doors that echo the minty green cabinetry, the pantry blends seamlessly with the kitchen.
